Teamwork from first responders provided best outcome

On Friday, September 15, 2017 at approximately 3:50 pm there was a chemical explosion at Taste Advantage LLC located at 3135 Drane Field Road in Ruthven Business Park II. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the employees of Taste Advantage and neighboring businesses, especially the employees that were injured in the explosion. We are thankful for all of the first responders that aided at the scene, including Lakeland Police Department, Lakeland Fire Department, Polk County Fire Department and their EMT and Hazardous Materials Teams.
